CA Sri Lanka Career Fair to offer training opportunities with leading companies

Students from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) can enjoy unlimited access to hundreds of training opportunities at the CA Sri Lanka Career Fair which will be held on June 18th at the Institute’s Colombo 7 premises.

The career fair, open to all CA Students seeking training opportunities at certificate and strategic levels will consist of leading training organisations in the country from the public and non-public sectors who will be looking to fill over 250 vacancies at the career fair.

The participating companies from the public practice sector will include; Aiyar& Co, A. Kandasamy& Co, BDO Partners, Dayananda Samarawickrama& Co, Dias Associates, Ernst & Young, Gajma & Co, Harshitha Bandara & Co, KPMG, Kanesalingam& Co, K. A. L. Rupasinghe & Co, Nihal Hettiarachchi & Co, Price water house Coopers, R & J Associates and SJMS Associates.

The participating companies from the non-public practice sector will include; Amba Research Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, AHL Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Blue Ocean Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Brandix Mercury Asia (Pvt) Ltd, Central Finance Co Ltd, Ceylon Paper Sacks Ltd, Linear Aqua (Pvt) Ltd, Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC, National Development Bank, People’s Leasing & Company Ltd, Capital Maharaja Organisations Ltd and WNS Global Services (Pvt) Ltd.

The career fair will also consist of a series of career guidance workshops and seminars and walk-in interviews for CA Students following the institute’s globally recognized chartered accountancy course.

The CA Sri Lanka qualification covers all vital aspects required to be a globally qualified Chartered Accountant, as it gives students a thorough understanding on key subjects, however the most important and unique feature of the CA Sri Lanka qualification is the three year practical training period students have to undergo during their course of study.

At present, the institute has over 650 training partners representing all sectors.
