Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka – Qatar Chapter
With an ambitious mission aimed at developing the professional competence and integrity of CA Sri Lanka members living in Qatar, the CA Sri Lanka Qatar Chapter came into existence in 2008 under the affiliation of the Sri Lankan Embassy in State of Qatar.
Currently, an impressive number of Sri Lankan Chartered Accountants totalling approximately 100 hold prestigious positions among the accounting professionals working in the State of Qatar and are known for their professional skills and dedication earning them the highest recognition by employers.
Over the past years, Qatar Chapter had organized several professional and technical sessions in the form of seminars and training workshops apart from series of social events, which have provided members and guests with the opportunity to exchange ideas and up-to-date "know-how", drawing from the top financial professionals in the Gulf region and from around the globe.
The Chapter’s vision, mission and objectives are given below.

To be recognized as one of the leading overseas Chapters of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Mission
To develop professional competence and integrity of CASL members living in Qatar and Create a unity among them.
Objectives
- Advocate and promote the value that the members add to the business.
- Facilitate Continued Professional development and networking opportunities.
- Enhance the professional competencies and create awareness of business needs.
- Provide an opportunity for social and community interaction.
- Work closely with the Sri Lankan mission in Qatar as appropriate for the benefit of Sri Lankan CA in Qatar as well as Sri Lankan community in Qatar.
