When is the next DISSCA intake?

The DISSCA intake will commence in April 2025 and continue until August 2025.

 

What sort of a diploma program is this?

The Diploma in Information Systems Security Control & Audit (DISSCA) is jointly conducted with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has been offered since 2003.

 

The inauguration, post-inauguration assessment, lectures, module tests, project submissions, and eligibility test will all be conducted online. However, the final assessment will require physical attendance.

Is this a CPD accredited program?

This is a CPD accredited program. CA members who obtain the qualification from the final assessment will receive 20 CPD accredited hours.

How will I complete the inauguration?

ICA India will issue you a username & password to login to their learning portal after entering your basic details.

 

You need to complete 20hrs. of learning time to be qualified from the assessment.

 

You have a maximum of 3 chances to complete the assessment.

 

How can I join the lectures?

You will be connected to the live sessions virtually. Please note that there will be no recorded versions of these live sessions.

 

Can I have details about the Module Tests?

At the end of each module, you will have a one-hour module test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) conducted online.

Can I have details about the Group Assignment?

All Sri Lankan participants will be divided into groups, and assignments can be submitted online.

Can I speak to any of the lecturers in case of an issue?

You can communicate with the lecturer via email.

 

Details about Eligibility Test?

It will likely be an online assessment in September, with 120 MCQ type questions.

 

Details about Final Assessment Test?

It will likely be an online assessment in October, with 200 MCQ type questions.

 

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, final assessment qualified participants will receive a certificate.

 

How many accredited CPD hours are allocated?

Participants who successfully qualify in the final assessment will receive 20 CPD-accredited hours.
