CA Sri Lanka recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty of Business Studies and Finance of the University of Wayamba to collaborate and enhance the study of accountancy between both institutions.
The agreement, which aims to develop and foster the academic link between CA Sri Lanka and the University of Wayamba, was signed by Mr. Sanjaya Bandara, President of CA Sri Lanka and Dr. Sanjeewa Bowatte, Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wayamba.
Apart from helping strengthen the relationship between both CA Sri Lanka and the University of Wayamba, the agreement will also allow both organizations to share knowledge, upgrade knowledge in the accountancy profession, and carry out research work jointly, while CA Sri Lanka is also expected to offer scholarships and awards for best-performing students at the university.
