At corporate Level as the Corporate Communication (CS3) module, the students have the flexibility of selecting either Cambridge CAE (C1 Advanced) or Local Business English (CS3) programme.

• Cambridge CAE Programme (C1 Advanced)

Nature of the programme: It is the in-depth, high-level qualification that shows you have the language skills that employers and universities are looking for. More than 9,000 educational institutions, businesses and government departments around the world accept C1 Advanced as proof of high-level achievement in learning English.

Preparing for C1 Advanced helps learners develop the skills to make the most of studying, working, and living in English-speaking countries.

• Local Business English Programme (CS3)

Nature of the programme: This is developed to enhance language skills by providing stimulating activities that are specifically designed to enhance the students’ performance in both academic and professional activities.

All listening tracks/recordings are in the Learning Management System (LMS).

• The study pack should be purchased through the study pack counter at CA Sri Lanka or online.
• Overseas students will be facilitated online.

Prerequisite: Completion of CS2 is mandatory for eligibility / Obtained exemptions for CS3 (Please refer to ‘Exemptions’ to check if you are eligible for an exemption).

When should this be completed?

• Before applying for any Strategic Level Professional Knowledge Examinations.
• After successful completion of CS2.
• Before obtaining the qualification; Certified Corporate Accountant (CCA)

Course Registrations

After the applications are advertised on the web page, students should register online by following the given path.

Path: - Student Login -> Student Menu -> Registration - English Courses (MELC) -> Select course -> CS3/ Cambridge CAE

Students will be registered for each course on a first-come-first-served basis. They can choose a preferred time slot but in the event of less registration for a particular slot the class will be cancelled, and the students will be directed to select another available time slot.

Course duration: 3 months (50 Hours) - 4 hours per Week

Venue: CA Sri Lanka

Mode of delivery: Blended (9 Physical Lectures & 5 Online Lectures)

Placement Test (Optional):

• The placement test is for those who believe their English language skills are advanced and exemption from lectures will be granted to the students who score more than 80% from the test.
• However, it is compulsory for them to sit the Final Exam of CS3 & pass it to proceed to Strategic Level.
• After registering for the course, a date for the placement test will be informed through an email.

Payment Structure:

• At the time of registration, the students should make the registration & course fee payments of the programme.
