Course Registrations

After the applications are advertised on the web page, students should register online by following the given path.

Path: - Student Login -> Student Menu à Registration - English Courses (MELC) -> Select course -> CS2

Teaching Colleges:

• Click here to view the list of approved teaching colleges.
• Course fee should be paid to the teaching colleges after registering for CS2 at CA.
• It is mandatory for a student to fulfill 75% attendance to be eligible for the CS2 exam.

Prerequisite: Completion of CS1 is mandatory for eligibility / Obtained exemptions (Please refer to ‘Exemptions’ to check if you are eligible for an exemption).

The study pack should be purchased through the study pack counter at CA Sri Lanka or online.

When should this be completed?

• After successful completion of CS1.
• Before applying for any Corporate Level Professional Knowledge Examinations
• Before obtaining the qualification; Certified Business Accountant (CBA)

Duration (3.5 months) - 80 hours - 4 hours per week (55 hours face-to-face & 25 hours on LMS)

Course Content

All 4 language skills; reading, writing, listening & speaking; which will be tested at the Final Exam.

Placement Test (Optional)

• Students who would like to know their competency level or those who have a higher competency level and wish to get an exemption from the CS2 study programme may sit the Placement Test.
• Students should score more than 75% to obtain an exemption. However, it is compulsory for them to sit the Final Exam of CS2 & pass it to proceed to Corporate Level.
• After registering for the course, a date for the placement test will be informed through an email.

Payments for CS2 Module

• All payments regarding the CS2 Module should be paid to CA Sri Lanka via online/ to any Bank of Ceylon branch island-wide or to the Cashier at CA Sri Lanka.

Payment Structure:

• At the time of registration, the students should make the registration & placement test (optional) fee of the programme.
