Over 3400 candidates sat for the Business Level I & II exams which commenced in September and concluded in October. Due to the island wide lockdown, the exams were conducted virtually. This was the third Business Level exam held this year, as the Institute took steps to ensure there was no delay in conducting exams by converting the physical exams into virtual exams, in line with the health guidelines issued by the authorities and to ensure the safety of all students.

Students who complete the Business Level of CA Sri Lanka successfully will qualify as a Certified Business Accountant (CBA), while students who complete the Corporate Level will qualify as a Certified Corporate Accountant (CCA). The Strategic Level is the third and final level of the CA Sri Lanka professional programme, and students who complete this level successfully will be awarded the benchmark Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.
