நாட்டின் மிகவும் எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட வணிக உச்சிமாநாட்டின் வரலாற்றில் ஒரு முக்கியமான மைல்கல்லைக் குறிக்கும் வகையில், பட்டய கணக்காளர்களின் 40 வது தேசிய மாநாடு 2019 அக்டோபர் 14 ஆம் தேதி பத்தரமுல்லை, வோட்டர்ஸ் எட்ஜ் உல்லாச விடுதியில் சர்வதேச புகழ்பெறற் நிதி வல்லுநர்கள், கூட்டுவணிக மற்றும் வணிகத் தலைவர்கள், கொள்கை வகுப்பாளர்கள், தொலைநோக்கு பார்வையாளர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்முயற்சியாளர்கள் முன்னிலையில் மண்டபம் நிறைந்த பார்வையாளர்கள் மத்தியில் அங்குரார்ப்பணம் செய்து வைக்கப்பட்டது.

Ms. Wilkinson highlighted that Chartered Accountants play a crucial role in strengthening the global economy due to the important role they play by strengthening the economies of their individual nations. “I think in a fast moving and unpredictable world, its easy to become overwhelmed. Therefore, we must harness our inner strengths, drive and focus to be the best we can be so that we can find that inner magic which helps us regain our inner mojo,” she said in her speech.
Delivering the keynote speech, Dr. Wijayasuriya elucidated the word mojo to generating ‘Moments of Overwhelming Joy’. He emphasized the need to ensure that one generates this mojo with everyone he or she interacts with whether it be with peers, superiors or team members. He highlighted that a leader’s calling is more about igniting the mojo of others and less about igniting their own mojo. “We are at the top, but there are millions of people who are not as privileged as us. So, our vision should be about cultivating the mojo of others,” he said.
Dr. Wijayasuriya emphasized the need to appreciate even the most menial of tasks. “Say thank you, tell them what a great job they have done. When you show gratitude, it gives purpose to even the smallest of tasks,” he said.
He said that everyone complaints about slow economic growth and wait rather than driving it forward. “We must make it our responsibility to drive this growth forward. Business growth comes from economic growth and equally business growth can drive economic growth. I believe instead of waiting for economic growth, we must create that growth,” he said.
Dr. Wijayasuriya also said that business leaders can ignite and spread a nation’s mojo. “We as business leaders can ignite and spread a nation’s mojo, if we are positive. If we take challenges before us with a positive mindset and determination that will ultimately benefit our homes, organizations, nation and society at large,” Dr. Wijayasuriya added.

திரு. ஜகத் பெரேரா, மாநாட்டின் 40 வது ஆண்டு விழாவைக் கொண்டாடுவது இந்நிகழ்வின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க சாதனை என்று கூறினார். 'இந்த ஆண்டின் மாநாடு எங்கள் உறுப்பினர்களைப் புத்தூக்கம் பெற உதவும், இதனால் அவரக்ள் முன்னேறத் தேவையான ஊக்கத்தைப் பெறுவதுடன், மேலும் தொழில்சார் மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட மட்டத்தில் வெற்றியின் மிக உயர்ந்த உச்சத்தை அடைவார்கள்' எனவும் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
திரு. துலித்த பெரேரா, தேசிய மாநாடானது, பட்டய கணக்காளர்கள் மற்றும் நிதி சாராத தொழில் வல்லுநர்களை அதிக தொழில்சார் சாதனைகளை அடைய மாற்றும், ஊக்குவிக்கும் மற்றும் தூண்டுதலளிக்கும் ஒரு தளமாக மாறியுள்ளது எனக் குறிப்பிட்டார். திரு. ரேஹ்மன் ஜி, மோஜோ தனிநபருடன் தொடங்கினாலும், அது தனிப்பட்ட மட்டத்திற்கு அப்பால் நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் வணிகங்களை உள்ளடக்கிய அடுத்த நிலைக்கு செல்கிறது என்று வலியுறுத்தினார்.
