Criteria for Selection
GCE A/L Examination
Minimum three simple (S) passes at the GCE A/L Examination in one sitting and minimum 30 marks for the Common General Test (CGP)
BSc. Applied Accounting (Special) Degree-
- The only “Applied Accounting” Degree approved by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Higher Education
- Industry exposure through internship and job placements at reputed organization after 2 years.
- Graduates of the BSc Applied Accounting (Special) Degree are eligible to obtain exemptions from
- CA Qualification: Complete only 4 subjects form the Strategic Level of the Chartered Accountancy qualification and become a qualified CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT while enjoying exemptions from the Business Level and the Corporate Level.

How to Apply
Students who are willing to study under this scheme to follow the BSc. Applied Accounting (Special) degree programme should apply through the online application hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education www.studentloans.mohe.gov.lk
Please mark your first preference for ICASL CCOM03 –Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting (Special) degree when selecting the degree.
