“See the feathers fly”, the CA Students’ Badminton Tournament 2013, organized by the Chartered Accountants Students’ Society, was concluded on the 20th of October 2013 at the S. Thomas’ College, Indoor Sports Complex. The event witnessed a record number of participating teams representing the member firms.
The tournament was keenly contested with many close games and B.R. De Silva & Company emerged as the champions in the Men’s category, in which KPMG and Jayasinghe & Company emerged as runners up and second runners up, respectively.
In the women’s category, KPMG emerged as champions with BDO Partners securing the second place. Jayasinghe & Company secured the third place.
The next event in the CA Students’ sports calendar is the CA Students’ Swimming Meet which is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November 2013 at the at the Tamil Union (The Oval) swimming complex.
