of the FCA standard scheme with effect from

1st October 2023.

Become a Fellow Member (FCA)

Fellow Membership is the highest award that can be conferred by the Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka Sri Lanka. Electing to FCA status means that you are known and respected around the world as an expert and a leader in the field of accounting and finance profession. Currently the CA Sri Lanka offers two pathways to our members to apply for the FCA schemes;

 

  • FCA – Normal scheme:

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum of uninterrupted Eight (08) years of membership by paying your annual membership renewals.
  • Comply 120 CPD hour requirement for the preceding 5 years
  • 8 years or more work experience in accounting, finance or business, out of which 5 years of managerial experience [ A position of Supervisory level (supervising a minimum of 2 team members) with demonstrable leadership qualities and strategy making decisions in either a technical or business environment ]. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are also required.
  • FCA - Special Scheme:

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum of uninterrupted Fifteen years of membership by paying your annual membership renewals.
  • Comply minimum of 20 CPD hours requirement for the previous year.

    • FCA Application
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Employment conformation letter (for the preceding 5 years)
    • Other qualification certificates (Courses, Diploma Degree, MBA, Other professional qualifications).
