Central Bank Chief to speak on sustaining growth and stability at the CA Sri Lanka Tax Oration today

As Sri Lanka witnesses an era of rapid development across the country, the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabraal will speak on sustaining growth and stability at the 18th Annual Tax Oration of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), which will be held Today, Tuesday, 27th August 2013.

Mr. Cabraal, who is a Past President of CA Sri Lanka will deliver the keynote address on ‘Harmonizing Fiscal and Monetary Policies to Deliver Sustainable Growth and Stability,’ to a wide audience including business leaders and top government officials.

The annual tax oration, organized by the Institute’s Faculty of Taxation, is one of CA Sri Lanka’s most anticipated annual events, and will be held at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

The annual oration attracts a significant number of professionals from tax and finance sectors, including high-profile tax officials from the public sector to tax orators, and a significant number of CA Sri Lanka members.

The Medallion for this event as in all preceding events comes from Mr. Esmond Satarasinghe, who is the only surviving member of the first CA Sri Lanka Council.
