The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently received a tremendous boost following the appointment of two top companies to its diverse training partnership portfolio.
At a ceremony held at the Institute’s Colombo 7 premises, CA Sri Lanka awarded training partner status to Dialog Axiata PLC and Bodyline (Pvt) Ltd.
Accordingly, Dialog and Bodyline will provide training for students following the chartered accounting course at the strategic level stage.
CA Sri Lanka President Mr. Sujeewa Rajapakse handed over the certificate awarding the training partner status to Dialog’s Group Financial Controller Mr. W L T Fernando and Bodyline’s Head of Finance Mr. P G N Rupasinghe.
CA Sri Lanka Vice President Mr. Arjuna Herath, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Aruna Alwis and Council Member and Alternate Chairman of the Training & Development Committee Mr. Sanjaya Bandara were also present at the event.
The three-year long practical training is an integral part of the institute’s study programme and the Institute believes that these partnerships with training organisations will benefit its trainees and the accounting profession as a whole.
