The Sri Lankan government’s 2013 budget will come under focus at the annual budget seminar organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) which will feature Secretary to the Treasury, Dr. P.B. Jayasundera who will be the keynote speaker at the much anticipated annual event.
Scheduled to be held on November 10th, at the Grand Ballroom of the Galadari Hotel, the seminar will also feature Commissioner General of the Department of Inland Revenue, Ms. Mallika Samarasekara as a speaker, among a versatile team of panelists who will delve in detail on the government’s much anticipated budget.
Dr. Jayasundera is expected to use the seminar as a platform to emphasize on the government's budget strategy for 2013 amidst mounting expectations from both the public and private sectors for a more people friendly budget next year.
The panelists will include Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. S. R. Attygalle, Senior Tax Advisor of the Department of Fiscal Policy, Ms. Dhammika Gunathilaka, Deputy Commissioner General of the Department of Inland Revenue, Mr. H. B. A.
