The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently awarded training partner status to Lankaputhra Development Bank and AHL Business Solutions.
Accordingly, Lankaputhra Development Bank and AHL Business Solutions will provide training for students following the chartered accounting course at the strategic level stage.
At a ceremony held at the Institute’s Colombo 7 premises recently, CA Sri Lanka President Mr. Sujeewa Rajapakse handed over the certificate awarding the training partner status to Mr. P. S. Edirisooriya, Chief Financial Officer of Lankaputhra Development Bank Ltd.
The strategic level training partner certificate was also handed over to AHL Business Solution’s Assistant Vice President Mr. D. V. T. Jayasinghe, in the presence of its Head of Business Services Mr. Amjad Ibrahim and Head of Business System & Services Ms. D. Wickramasuriya.
CA Sri Lanka Vice President Mr. Arjuna Herath and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Aruna Alwis were also present at the event.
As a training partner, the organisation provides practical training which in result assists the long term development of the accountancy profession in the country.
The three-year long practical training is an integral part of the institute’s study programme and the Institute believes that these partnerships with training organisations will benefit its trainees and the accounting profession as a whole.
