CA Sri Lanka Kuwait Chapter Elects New Office Bearers For The Year 2020
CA Sri Lanka Kuwait Chapter conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2019 at Crowne Plaza Hotel on 14 February 2020 under the patronage of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Kuwait, His Excellency, Mohammed Jauhar. The Chief Guest for the AGM was Mr. Manil Jayesinghe, the President of CA Sri Lanka.
Mangala Rajapaksha was elected as the President of the Chapter for the year 2020 who was inducted by the outgoing President Sanjeewa Senarathna.
New office bearers for the year 2020 were elected unanimously as per the constitution of the Chapter as follows:
Vice President: Dimuthu Ethugala, General Secretary: Thisara Dilshan, Treasurer: Aruna Weerasingha.
Executive Committee: Janaka Jayawardena, Ramachandran Neelavannan, Shukry Suhaib, Dishani Malliyawadu and Rajanayagam Thivaharan.
The AGM proceedings were conducted by Dimuthu Ethugala who was the General Secretary of the Chapter for 2019. The Annual Report of 2019 with the theme of ‘Corporate Sustainability’ was jointly presented by Pradeep Saman Kumara and Thisara Dilshan, the Editors. The AGM was compered by Dasun Jayawardena who is a member of the Chapter and the vote of thanks was proposed by Jayantha Premasekera, the AGM Organizing Committee Chairman.
A special multimedia solution was arranged by the Organising Committee headed by Jayantha Premasekara under the sponsorship of Horizon Event Management Company. Tokens of appreciation were presented to all the sponsors of the AGM.

CA Sri Lanka Kuwait Chapter, The Sri Lankan Chartered Accountants’ society in Kuwait, (The Chapter) recently conducted its Annual General Meeting for the year 2018 at Crowne Plaza Hotel under the patronage of Poshitha Perera, the Minister and Head of Chancery of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait, representing His Excellency the Ambassador of Sri Lanka Kandeepan Balasubramaniam.
Sanjeewa Senarathna was appointed as a new president for year 2019 who was inducted by the outgoing president Susantha Dissanayake who served as president for the year 2018.
