Six top students bag merit and subject prizes at CA Sri Lanka Executive Level exams

Six top students of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently won the Merit and Subject Prizes at the September 2015 Executive Level Examination.

Accordingly, Meera Kumarasoorier won the first in order of merit prize, while Lahiru Madhuranga Kumara won the second in order of merit prize.

Sawanthika Madushani Rankoth won the financial accounting & reporting fundamentals subject prize, while the management accounting information subject prize was won by Nuwan Udara Alwis.

Chathurani Damiyangoda Yapa won the subject prize for fundamentals of taxation and law, while Piyumi Dhananjana won the processes assurance & ethics subject prize. Meera Kumarasoorier also won the commercial insight for management subject prize.

The CA Sri Lanka curriculum which is updated regularly aims at producing highly versatile Chartered Accountants, who possess the ability to steer businesses across all sectors by partnering businesses with sound financial leadership.

The new curriculum which came into effect in 2015, is offered at three levels; Executive, Business and Corporate and consists of three pillars; Knowledge, Skills and Personal.
