Students who aspire to be exceptional future professionals can follow the Practical Business English course offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) which will accelerate their progress towards enjoying greater opportunities in the business world.
The Practical Business English Course which aims to develop the confidence, fluency, accuracy and communication skills of students is offered under three separate modules, which have been developed based on the needs of today’s contemporary students.
The three separate modules cover; Effective Communication, Dynamic Presentations and Business Writing.
Each module is on average a month long and the first module on Effective Communication will commence on 27th July 2014, while the second module on Dynamic Presentations will kick off on 31st August 2014 and the third module on Business Writings will begin on 4th October 2014.
The programme is open for Students of CA Sri Lanka and the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, university students, job seekers, school leavers and students sitting for Advanced Level examinations.
The unique feature of this programme is that it offers a variety of interactive & interesting activities that help students gain necessary language skills focusing on reading, writing, listening and speaking.
The programme will help students communicate effectively in a wide range of business situations, while helping them gain confidence in using the language in an English speaking environment, learn to use a range of business terms and vocabulary, help present dynamic presentations which will persuade and motivate others and enhance their academic and professional writing skills. The programme will also help students enjoy a series of lifetime benefits including practical language skills required to work in an office environment, enhanced English language competency and communication skills, while also learning how to conduct business activities in English.
The programme which is conducted by CA Sri Lanka’s Multimedia English Language Centre offers students an interactive learning environment with individual attention, while also offering students to develop different learning styles by providing them with a variety of learning materials. The centre is boosted with highly qualified and well experienced team of trainers who will conduct the programme, and students can also enjoy unlimited access to the latest business English materials including e-modules.
A certificate will be awarded to all candidates subsequent to the successful completion of the course.
