CA Sri Lanka recognizes new teaching colleges for 2014

In its capacity as one of the country’s leading tertiary education providers, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) continued to attract prominent teaching colleges from across the country, recognizing them as an integral part in delivering the globally recognized curriculum of CA Sri Lanka at a special ceremony held recently at the institute.

Certificates of recognition were awarded to the Academy of Management Education, Inspiro Business School (Pvt) Ltd, and the Institute of Professional Creation (Pvt) Ltd by CA Sri Lanka President Arjuna Herath recognizing them as registered teaching colleges of CA Sri Lanka.

Mr. Herath awarded the certificates of recognition to Mr. M.M.M. Tariq of the Academy of Management Education, Mr. Bandara Dissanayake of Inspiro Business School (Pvt) Limited and Mr. Manoj Dheerasinghe of the Institute of Professional Creation (Pvt) Limited in the presence of Mr. Manil Jayesinghe, Chairman of the CA Sri Lanka Education & Curriculum Development Task Force, Mr Sanjaya Bandara, Alternate Chairman of the Education & Curriculum Development Task Force, Mr Aruna Alwis, Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka, and Mr Harsha Gunasena, Chief Operating Officer - Education, Examination & Technical.

The recognition comes just weeks after CA Sri Lanka launched its groundbreaking new curriculum for 2015 which aims to produce chartered accountants who will utilize their specialized financial acumen to spearhead corporates across Sri Lanka and overseas.
