The country’s national body of accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will ceremonially induct Arjuna Herath as the 22nd President on Tuesday, 21st January 2014 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The induction ceremony will be held under the distinguished patronage of Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Governor of Central Bank and Warren Allen, President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), who is in the country on a four day official visit on the invitation of CA Sri Lanka.
Herath, who is a partner of Ernst & Young is well known personality in the corporate world in Sri Lanka and is also the incumbent Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Accountants, a SAARC body.
His two year term as President of CA Sri Lanka will end in December 2015.
